This stone is derived from raw stone and, thanks to its attractive appearance, is used for building facades and interior decoration. Stone tiles—which are smaller in size than slabs—are typically produced in square or rectangular shapes and are supplied in various thicknesses and dimensions, achieved through precise cutting.

Stone tiles refer to stone slabs with a thickness of 1.5 to 3 centimeters. Representing the final stage of stone processing, they are used as flooring and wall cladding. What distinguishes stone tiles from other stone products is their dimensions, which typically range from 30 to 80 centimeters.

Difference between tiles and slabs:

Smaller stone sheets are referred to as “tiles,” while larger ones are called “slabs.” Stone tiles are similar in size to the ceramic tiles found in most homes; their dimensions and thickness allow a single person to carry them easily. In contrast, slabs are large, a characteristic that makes their transport, installation, and loading processes distinct and more challenging.

Advantages of stone tiles:

  1. Easy to transport; requires no special tools or accessories.
  2. Easy installation
  3. Extensive application throughout the building
  4. Custom cutting available in square and rectangular shapes and dimensions.
  5. Features a fine and suitable thickness.
  6. The final cost is lower than that of larger stones.
  7. It features very high cutting precision.
  8. It can be honed and polished to restore the stone’s appearance.

Types of stone tiles:

Classification can be based on various factors that influence usage, value, and sales.

  1. Types of stone tiles based on material
  2. Types of stone tiles based on dimensions

Types of stone tiles based on material:

Marble – Limestone (often marketed as marble) – Granite – Travertine – Traonyx – Crystalline marble (or “China stone”)

Types of stone tiles based on dimensions:

In terms of size, these stones can be categorized into small dimensions—specifically under 40 cm—and large dimensions, ranging from 60 to 80 cm per side.

Yes, we offer sales both in-person and via online orders.
As a standard, five stone balusters should be used.
For available products, we immediately issue a shipment request, and loading begins as soon as the carrier secures a vehicle—typically within one to three business days.
Calculating stone tonnage is based on experience and is typically accurate within a very narrow margin of error. For instance, 26 to 28 square meters of travertine weigh one tonne, while 19 to 22 square meters of marble weigh one tonne. Regarding stair treads—which are predominantly made of marble (marmerit) or granite and are 3 cm thick—12 to 14 square meters correspond to one tonne.
